The Socca Grand Prix Sevens 2025 in Tbilisi came to an unforgettable conclusion, with Aptos (Georgia) lifting the trophy after a superb 2–0 victory over fellow Georgian side FC Bridge in the final. Aptos showed composure, discipline, and attacking quality throughout the tournament, and in the decisive match they proved why they are worthy champions, overcoming one of their toughest rivals to claim the crown.
The third-place playoff gave local fans even more reason to celebrate, as Caucasus Auto Import from the organising country produced a powerful performance to defeat Real Panthers (Portugal) 4–1. That result meant Georgia completed a clean sweep of the podium, underlining the country’s strength in world socca.
This year’s tournament wasn’t just about team glory — individual talent shone brightly too. Iakhtnishvili finished as the competition’s top scorer with 8 goals, while legend Kakha Kaladze topped the assists chart with 4, proving once again the depth of Georgian playerpool on the international stage.
