The Socca Grand Prix Sevens 2025 in Tbilisi continued with a spectacular Day 2, and once again the tournament proved why it has become one of the most entertaining 7-a-side competitions worldwide. With 20 international clubs from Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the USA competing, the battle for qualification is heating up, and several teams are already making their mark.

The most electrifying match of the day came in the clash between FC Real Panthers and Naija Thunder, ending in a thrilling 3–3 draw. After their emphatic victory on Day 1, Naija Thunder showed their attacking power once again but couldn’t shake off the resilient Real Panthers, who now remain unbeaten with back-to-back high-scoring draws (4–4 and 3–3).

Local pride was on display as Betlive edged FC Sarmat with a tight 2–1 win, following up on their opening victory to keep momentum alive. Meanwhile, Caucasus Auto Import continued their perfect run with a professional 1–0 triumph over Gruni, adding to their earlier 4–0 statement win. With two victories in two matches, they look well on their way to the knockout stage.

Elsewhere, Al-Duhail bounced back in style, dismantling FC Arizona 3–0, while Denizli Genclik delivered another nail-biter, overcoming Mlady Perspektivni 4–3 to stay among the tournament’s strongest performers.

Another headline result came from Aptos, who silenced Tbilisi City Hall with a convincing 2–0 away display, putting themselves firmly into contention. On the other hand, Socca USA’s struggles continued with a 2–4 defeat to Real Panthers, leaving them with back-to-back losses after falling heavily to Naija Thunder on Day 1.

With two rounds played, a few storylines are already clear: Caucasus Auto Import and Betlive remain unbeaten and in control of their groups, Naija Thunder and Real Panthers continue to thrill with goals galore, while Socca USA faces an uphill battle to turn things around.

With two matchdays behind us, the tension is rising and the margins remain razor-thin. The teams that started strong will look to maintain their advantage, while others are ready to fight back and change their fate. Day 3 promises even more action and decisive battles on the road to the next stage.
