The third matchday of the Socca Grand Prix Sevens in Tbilisi was simply spectacular, delivering a true goals galore and some incredible turnarounds that shook up the standings. With every team fighting for a place in the quarterfinals, the action reached new levels of intensity.
Aptos were the stars of the day, producing two stunning victories — a 7–3 triumph over Socca USA and a commanding 6–1 win against Naija Thunder. These results not only underlined their attacking firepower but also put them firmly in control of their group.
The home crowd was treated to another high-scoring display as Tbilisi City Hall smashed Naija Thunder 6–2, but later fell to Real Panthers (2–5) in a rollercoaster of emotions. The Panthers, who had already thrilled fans with dramatic draws in the first two days, proved once again they are among the most dangerous sides in the competition.
Elsewhere, Caucasus Auto Import continued their perfect run with a dominant 6–2 win over Denizli Genclik, while Betlive edged Al-Duhail 3–2 in a nail-biting clash. Sporting Snob also found their rhythm, beating Adarburu Taberna 4–1 after an earlier narrow loss.
Perhaps the biggest statement came from FC Sarmat, who demolished FC Arizona 6–0, sending a clear message that they are serious contenders for the knockout stage.
With Day 3 wrapped up, the group stage of the Socca Grand Prix Sevens is now complete. The battles were fierce, the goals were endless, and the tension kept rising until the very last whistle. Now, with the dust settled, only the top two teams of each group have advanced to the quarterfinals, where the stakes get even higher and every mistake can be fatal.
