Delegates from across the International Socca Federation gathered in Cancún for a formal welcome meeting as part of the TUI Socca World Championship. Hosted by Sergio Ibarra, President of Socca Americas, the General Assembly brought together national presidents, International Socca federation leaders, and event organizer’s.
The meeting served as an opportunity to acknowledge the global participation in this year’s championship and to express appreciation for the continued growth of the sport. Alejandro Luna, Director of Sports for the Government of Mexico, extended a warm welcome on behalf of Cancún, recognising the significance of hosting the world’s leading small-sided football nations and highlighting the city’s pride in supporting an event of such global reach and positive sporting impact.
