With the world cup just days away, the world’s largest provider of community sport, Leisure Leagues, has once again announced a cash sponsorship package for the entire England and Scotland squads participating in the socca World Cup in Germany, covering all their food requirements.
Leisure Leagues had previously announced that they would be funding the complete trips for the England (pictured below in action in the world cup in Hungary) and Scotland squads, including fully paid flights, transportation, transfers, kit, clothing, and five-star accommodation in the center of Essen. Now, they have extended the deal to include a package covering all main meals, every day, as well.
Director Tom Nash stated, ‘Since 2018 in Lisbon, Leisure Leagues has already funded the wider socca project with upwards of £2 million, and this additional funding emphasizes the continued financial support available to the England and Scotland squads. It ensures that the players don’t have to spend a penny or a euro of their own money to get to Germany, move around, stay in the best hotels, and enjoy the best food.’
Both teams will be in action on day two of the tournament. England will kick off on Saturday evening against the USA at 6 pm, while Scotland will play against Morocco at 10 pm on the same day.
