Throughout February, the ISF team in the UK has received numerous applications from countries all over the world enquiring about the new membership packages for 2026.
Some of these membership packages have come from brand new organisations in Europe and the ISF is discussions with each of the prospective new member which package of membership would suit them the best.
An ISF spokesman said:
“All our existing members must be aware that we have granted them a window to renew their membership for 2026 on an exclusive basis, and this window is now closed. This means that any new organisation in a new country can become a member at the possible exclusion of one of our 2025 members. We are very close to agreeing new memberships for new organisations in countries such as Romania and Poland, and we hope to announce both of these organisations over the next coming weeks.
Every 2025 member should know that we are operating on a first-come, first-served basis now and we cannot hold memberships open to 2025 members indefinitely, particularly as we have had so much interest both in Europe and around the world.”
The ISF is on course for having over 90 members in 2026 and is looking to expand its range of countries to over 150 in 2027.
An ISF spokesman said:
“With all of these new prospective members, it means we will need new and varied tournaments in the calendar and we are already discussing with a number of prospective members the opportunity to host events in their own country, for which they need to purchase at least a Silver package. These are exciting times ahead for thr future of ISF, which will be rapidly expanding over the next two years.
