International Women’s Day In Pakistan

This international women’s day 7th March 2021, Leisure Leagues and World Group in collaboration with Dreamworld is organising Women’s Football Cup 2020 at Dreamworld Resort!

The event is the latest in a long line of wonderful events from Leisure Leagues in Pakistan, as we strive to make the leagues as inclusive as possible.

Since the Trunkwala Family – Shahzeb is also the president of the Leisure Leagues powered ISF – took the Leisure Leagues brand to the sports mad nation, the incredible improvements to the women’s game – and inclusion in general – have brought them awards from the United Nations.

Leisure Leagues’ Andy Thorley praised the latest festival and said: “Everything we do is always with an aim to breaking down barriers and ensuring much greater social inclusion. Whether it is in the UK, Pakistan, or any of the other communities we are proud to serve throughout the world, it is paramount to us that our leagues are accessible and available to everyone.

“It is brilliant to see them doing so much good in so many disparate corners of the world, and it is truly humbling to see the way football brings everyone together.”

Leisure Leagues in Pakistan have hit the headlines for many reasons since they launched with the glitzy Ronaldinho And Friends games, not least for appointing the first female match official in their games in the North of the country and having the first ever Women’s cup in Pakistan back in 2019 (pictured).

Leisure Leagues spokesperson in Pakistan said simply in advance of the event. “Hope to see you all there to support the young talented players of our country and see them in action on the field!”
