We’re pleased to announce that we have appointed Thanos Papadopoulos as the International Socca Federation’s new CEO, with immediate effect.
The role will be focused on the delivery of tournaments including the high profile Socca6 World Cup and plans are already underway for further tournaments to take place before the end of 2018, details of which will be unveiled next month, as well as developing key strategic partnerships within the socca sector who can assist us in our aims to develop socca both at the elite level and at the local community level.
Thanos brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously delivered European level tournaments in Greece, Croatia and Slovenia over the past 5 years as well as operating one of Greece’s leading sports and marketing agencies, Libero S&T.
